If you met A7X.....

I didn't see this anywhere so I thought I'd add the topic. Correct me if I'm wrong though and if it's in the wrong place, feel free to move it!
I've been thinking about what I'd do if I met then - mainly because I know it will never happen - and so I have a few things I'd like to do. Like:
- Poke Matt's dimple's because they're gorgeous!
- Take a photo of Jimmy with a hat (I've never seen him with a hat before! Is it just me?)
- Get a picture of Johnny dressed as a Gnome and congratulate him on finding someone smaller (ie. me!)
- Get a height difference photo with Jimmy and also sit on his shoulders to see what it's like so high up!

So... what would you like to do if you met the A7X lads?

I forgot the most obvious thing!
Get Autographs and a group photo! =o How could I forget?

I don't know what I would do....
i think i would get to excited and like pass out lol

Meeting them is the hard part. At least for me. At one concert, Matt was the only one to stay and sign stuff and at the other, the security made us leave before the band even came out. BUT! I would say that if I got the chance (again) I'll ask for hugs because they are spiffy. Oh a hint is to be nice to Danny, he's the only reason I got my picture. Oh another: don't be pushy when waiting, it bugs Danny and he controls how long they stay out side. XD

i tried to act like i was cool and shiz.
i was all quiet because i have a tendency to say what i think. and what i was thinking was not for their ears XD

hmmm.....well i'd try not to just stare even though i'm pretty sure thats what i would do. I wouldn't have to guts to go up and talked to them. I'd let my friend do the talking and then i would be like "damn i missed out"......yeah

would you call them by their real name or stage names? D=

I'd call Matt either Matt or Shads
Zacky I'd call Zacky
Jimmy I'd call Jimmy
Brian I'd call Syn (I dunno why but I think it sounds better than Brian so I'd feel weird calling him Brian)
and Johnny would be Johnny
....I think anyway, I just think they suit them better, even if they don't like it XD

Although knowing me actually I'd forget everything all together XD

I was lucky enough to meet Johnny, Rev, and Zacky at a meet and greet in Fall of 2007. I FREAKED! I hyperventilated and cried and almost did pass out. Finally one of my best friends pinched me and then threatened to slap me. I went in and luckily didn't freak too much in the meet and greet. I didn't say ANYTHING. :'( I couldn't force myself to talk, I just gestured. 0_o And I've met so many bands and musicians and made lots of acquaintances with them and some even friends, but these men... my heroes... I just couldn't. I'm hoping to be better next time. Next time is still 13 months away at least though according to what Matt said the last time they were here.

I can actually say that I was lucky. The first time that I ever actually met the guys was a long time before they got even close to making it big. I was out in Huntington one summer, as usual, visiting my family. And my cousin Chris, who's 5 years older than me and to this day is my best friend, decided that he and I were going to go out one night. Now, he was 21. I was 16. But he managed to get me into a bar that the guys were playing in. And the show was amazing. Chris went to school with all of them. Didn't know that at the time. haha But after the show I got to visit with them and stuff. I've seen them a lot since then and I'd seen them a quite a few times when I was out there before, but it was awesome to get to talk to them and everything. And even now when I see them and stuff, it absolutely amazes me how normal they've stayed. I mean, they're the same guys that they were back then and you don't come across that very often.

They were extremely nice and normal. I completely agree with you, very down to earth. Hahaha. Rev was so adorable! We were only allowed to get 3 things signed or so we were told by the man organizing it and then we'd get one group shot at the end with the guys because they were doing this during the set right before theirs and time was short. So I chose my pants, a poster that I'd brought with me, and another poster for my friend's little brother. I was a little sad because I really wanted my favorite shirt signed too which I was wearing. So I go to Rev (He was first at the table) and give him the three things to sign.... Well taking off my pants and handing them to him would have been AWKWARD, so I just held out my leg. And then he's like "Do you want me to sign your shirt?" I just nodded my ass off! Hahaha. I have no idea if he knew the limit or not but it was so awesome of him and my best friend asked him for a hug and got one too. Not that I thought he would say no, they're just really giving. And I feel SO awesome that they were because we got to go on their bus and leave them a little treat. ^_^ Well their old bus the gold and red one, and only in as far a the front lounge table, but it was a freaking sweet set up! ^_^ And they deserved the treat cause they rock. One of my best guy friends (who happens to be gay) was completely outrageous and grabbed the Rev's ass while they took the picture! I just couldn't believe he did that! I'll have to upload the pic to my profile or a thread for you to see. Rev didn't really seem to mind is what it looks like though. 0_o
