Posts: 152 | April 17th, 2009 at 05:42pm I don't really think that this website has all that great of a design. I know I'm a n00b and I'm probably out of place to be criticizing it, but I'm a huge web design junkie.
1. You should make the profiles wider.
2. It's kind of difficult to navigate through this forum. It took me literally an hour to figure out how to register.
3. It's great the homepage is about A7X, but it's has absolutely nothing to do with the website.
4. I also think that there are many threads that should be stickied that aren't. like the WAYT.
5. On the top left corner where it says "Message Board; MY RE; Log Out; etc" on the message board thing, I also think there should be a link to your inbox from there. I mean, not just when you have a new message.
6. You should allow people to put MP3 files on their profile, even if it's only one song or whatever. If not at least put some A7X MP3s somewhere on the forum.
I'm sorry if any of this has been said already or anything. I looked through many things in here and didn't see any of this. Also I'm not trying to be mean about it or anything. I'm just giving my opinion.
On a much more positive note, however, I do think you've done a pretty good job on this website  |

We have requested, many many times, for our site's design to be updated, but the only person who can do that is the siteowner, Dujo.
Literally, we've been waiting for ages.
Until he updates the site, we're not gonna to get any sort of changes.
And about your third point - this website is based on A7X. That is the basis for the site. So until we decide to no longer be an A7X site - which won't happen - then the homepage will remain about the band.
And threads like the WAYT thread won't be stickied because they're not essential.
Only the rules, and a few selected threads will be stickied - the WAYT thread won't be. |

And I'm not saying don't make the homepage about A7X... but at the very least you should put a section on the homepage that helps you navigate through the webvsite. At the very least a log in/register thing.
But, yeah, whatever. Put a gun to Dujo's hear to update XD. Just kidding.
I'm just used to the WAYT being stickied, that's all. I'm used to it on Dujo's other sites where it is, but you're right. It's not essential. |

And I guess updating the design includes changing around the homepage too. Which may mean Dujo would have to do that as well, but I'm not so sure about that. |

I have seen some of his plans for the boards of his sites but that was a while ago. He said that Mibba would probably get redone first.
I can inform him of your concerns but I can't promise anything site look,layout and design like stuff is 100% his decision and done when he wants to. |
