If you have an INO, right beside "my INO" is "chatrooms".
If you click it, it takes you to like a website version of MSN where you can chat to yer fellow INOers.
I think it'd be GREAAAT to have one because no offense, but RE can get a little boring. |

That being said
I believe that the population of RE isn't on enough at the same time to currenty justify the addition of a chat room to the site.
You have to realize: RE is not even half the size of INO and therefore what they have there is a result of having a population to support and justify it. If we had 20 users on at a time most of the time, it would be more likely to get something like that. Even if we had 20 users on all of the time: it doesn't mean that all of them would be in the chatroom and most of the active users have each other on one form of messanger or another so we can chat while we're online at the same time already. |

I think what Vic meant is that it does get a bit slow sometimes.
I can vouch for that, because whenever I'm on...there are barely any people on.
So there's not much to do.
That being said, I do agree that there aren't enough people on at the same time so it'd be pretty pointless. |

Well all of the other Dujo websites all share a chatroom, so if you did make it couldn't you just stick it in with thoes? Then we'd ba able to chat with people from all of his websites so there would be enough people.
But if you really don't want one then I can't tell you to put one on. I can just stick with what we do have. |

Personally, I don't see the point of a chatroom. There are certain threads on here where you can have conversations with other members if you wanted to, and the whole point of forums is to talk to other people via threads and such, so why have a chatroom? It just doesn't make sense to me.
And I don't know if you've noticed, but this site is quite small compared to how popular Dujo's other sites are and I think the majority of us like it that way. If I wanted to talk to someone on one of his other sites then I would just go on there. |
