AVENGED SEVENFOLD JOIN MAIDEN FOR TWICKENHAM STADIUM AND OTHER EUROPEAN SHOWS

IRON MAIDEN are very pleased to announce that AVENGED SEVENFOLD will join them as SPECIAL GUESTS at Twickenham Stadium on July 5, Paris Bercy July 2 and 3 and a number of dates in Finland and Scandinavia (as listed below) on their "SOMEWHERE BACK IN TIME WORLD TOUR".

Following the mighty success of their recent album, "Avenged Sevenfold" (which charted at No 3 in Billboard in the USA and is close to gold in the UK), the band are currently on an extensive sold out UK tour and vocalist M. Shadows comments -

" I've seen Maiden play countless times and am continually blown away, not just by their live show, but also by the great records they continue to make. We have learned much from Iron Maiden and are honored to be sharing the stage with some of the greatest ICONS in rock music."

Maiden Manager Rod Smallwood comments: "It’s a tremendous time for metal fans right now with some fantastic young bands making a real mark for themselves. Maiden are delighted to be bringing their fans one of the very best, Avenged Sevenfold, who will be joining them on a number of their European Summer shows. how pissed off am I at Maiden?
Very is the answer.
one fucking date in the UK? ONE!?!?!

Ugh, like I can get to London.
I wanted to go before and now I'm just dying to, but there is no way that I can afford the travel & hotel costs of going to fucking London.

But woah that's awesome Laughing

Yeah...I read the dates after I posted this up...and I was just thinking, "It's realll fucked up that there's only one day in the UK."

What pisses me off even more is that when they do these tours with bands like Metallica [which I would MURDER to see], and Maiden, they only do them in Europe.
I mean, I'm glad that my friends in the UK get to experience that, but we don't get shit like that in America.
And if it does happen, it's usually for a festival and it's in California!

...So I'm pretty touchy about this subject in the first place. XD

Just be thankful you've seen Avenged Sevenfold live. Laughing
I doubt such an amazing tour like A7X/Maiden or A7X/Metallica would ever consider coming to Australia.

That's pretty damn great they're playing with Maiden.
Too bad Maiden are about to tour here. >.<

I actually hate one of my best friends right now. She's being taken to see Iron Maiden by one of her friends. I wasn't too bothered when she told me but now... I'm jealous.

You know there's only one way to solve this Sarah...
... Gotta kill 'em. Both.
And steal their tickets.
And take yourself, and Sock or someone else to your taste, to the show.

One tour date in the UK.
That's just crazy.

But because it's in July, it gives me enough time to beg my mum if she will take me to London.
Still. ;|

But hey, they're playing with Maiden.
That's pretty cool.

I can't convert pounds to the Aussie dollar correctly, but I know that's an insane price!
If I were over there in Europeland, I wouldn't pay to see A7X as the opening band for that amount of money.

It's an 18+ as well isn't it?
Well I definately have no chance.
And I wouldn't pay that much either. I'd rather just go to Give It A Name. |:

ALomst $190 US for a ticket?!? Thats such BS!!!
I seriously hope the tour does poorly. Thats fecking insane. I wouldn't pay that much to see Avenged alone much less them with Maiden (I'm just not that huge of a fan).
Geez. And the one date in the UK is just fecking ridiculous. I mean its a small country sure, but god damn, no one just does one stop in the UK. No one that's smart anyways.

Maybe London was the only city dumb enough to take the requirements for the show, all the other cities knew it wasn't worth it.

They probably only get one date, so they attract a hellovalot of people.
If tickets are that price, then people are going to be more likely to want to go, aren't they?
It's actually pretty logical. If they had fourteen dates in the UK, then you're less likely to get the same capacity.

They were amazing in Norway, really cool..
I'm just happy the Maiden fans didn't boo them, like they did in - was it Italy?
Anyway, they were amazing, saw them both dates they played in Norway. =)
