I don't know anything about it yet, apart from Matt saying that they were going to be there because Metallica are headlining... or something. |

Posts: 11740 | March 31st, 2008 at 08:44pm I've been checking this every day since Matt said they were going to be there and the tickets went on sale about an hour ago, and the lineup was also announced then.
Avenged were announced to be playing Reading on the Sunday and Leeds on the Friday on the main stage.
There is more information, and others announced to play here.
I don't know how I'm going to persuade my mother to let me go, but I've been trying for the past couple months. I don't know for sure if I'm going yet or not. |

My mum had to pay more though, because they apparently sold out within the first hour.
So I'm only going with my mother because she would never allow me to go to a festival by myself or without her there. I'm going to have to make some new friends...
But yeah, they sold out within the first hour though because companies buy bunches and bunches of tickets until they sell out and sell them for more. It's all a big money scheme and it's quite smart, but it sucks...
And there are tickets on ebay too.
At least I'm going to Leeds... (:

And Stormy, A7X will be playing Reading on Sunday 24th August and playing Leeds on the Friday 22nd August on the main stage.
I'd never buy tickets for festivals on ebay. It's so easy to be ripped off. I got my tickets after patiently waiting the day they went on sale. Sock saved my life though by giving me a direct link to the order form.
Leeds is A LOT further away from me but apparently it's the better festival...
And I'm going with my best mate who I always have a hilarious time with.

I would so hand them out, BUT I don't think my mom will get her check in time for me to get to England this summer for it, so I might not be there until this time next year. If Gez was on RE, I'd make him do it for me (by breaking him down so very slwoly and well)...hmmm. You could actually find a vendor and ask them if you could leave some fliers at their station...just a thought. |
