A7X recently posted a bulletin on myspace with some good news for the Canadian A7X fans out there.
Avenged Sevenfold will be coming to Canada on the Taste of Chaos tour!

The current dates are:

04/17/2008 08:00 PM - PNE Forum
Vancouver, British Columbia -

04/19/2008 08:00 PM - Stampede Corral
Calgary, Alberta

04/22/2008 08:00 PM - Northlands Agricom
Edmonton, Alberta

I'm fairly sure you can get them as you normally would,
As nothing was stated otherwise.

Also, as far as I know, all other bands will be joining them as well.
If I hear otherwise, I'll be sure to let you know.

Side note for everyone:
Bullet For My Valentine WILL NOT be playing at these shows.
Jay (bassist) has flown home. His daughter is seriously ill (she's hospitalized)
Right now it doesn't appear that it'll affec the rest of their tour dates (IE: Austalia).

Sorry, it's actually Jay the bassist who's ill.
They're planning to start fresh from the Aussie tour dates. =]

WHOOPS
thanks Jules. Fixed it. I blame James Hart for my error. I was listening to him when I was updating it.

Apparently the Canadian dates are missing a lot of the bands that the USA had. I don't think any of the Japanese bands even tried to get into Canada.
Atreyu is getting great reviews: Avenged gets great fan reviews but the journalists are saying that they're a bit distant from the crowd, there's no real flow or connecting between songs (just silence, no talking etc)...relying too much on the screens, pyro etc.
But I guess the pits are insane...and Canada ones are pretty "holy shite" for TOC. <nods> Oh to have had the money to go again in Canada (even if it meant like 10 hours in a car and odd looks from border control for going there just for a concert).
